First Row - Complete!

Well I've finally got the first row of Judgement Dragons done! :)
I am so excited. I am really pleased at how it is looking, at least from a few feet away. The stitches are blending nicely and such.
So this is 1/5 of the total project.
That doesn't seem like much after all the time I've put in. but that is okay cause I get to stitch colours other than blue in the next section!

I did make some progress on ducky this weekend. But will have photos a little later in the week of him. I have also been working on an ornament for a private exchange so I can't show any pics of it. But will show when it's been received.

Gift Arrived and HAED

I was so excited the other night when I got home from my 12 hour day (ugh) to see the package in my mailbox from Shel in Ireland! I won a gift from her blog a little while ago. I knew about the bookmarks, but she put in a bonus and it's these awesome Twilight candies. They are soooo cute! :)

Also... I was bad... HAED (Heaven and Earth Designs) is having a sale! 25% off for US Thanksgiving. And as today is the last day and our magazine goes out the door (yeah for the end of the insanity). I decided, and the man agreed, to let me buy one pattern from them.

So coming up this weekend (I get a real weekend with no work, *happy dance*) We are going to an art market thingy so that should be interesting and I hope to get some stitching done! More progress on ducky, finish that page on dragons and I have a new project, it's a surprise for a private exchange, so I can't share any pics. But once it's received I will post. Stitching Progress!

Well we are on the last leg of my craziness at work. This week should end the overtime *happy dance*. Just gotta get through this week.
But I did manage to get a bit of stitching in this weekend even with working.

Just for you Nancy M, an update on Castles in the Air! :)
This one was brutal I gotta say. The flowers you see on the left took me forever. I think I frogged once part out three times. So painful. I am so not looking forward to the matching set on the other side, but first I will do the peacock on this side.

And I have an update on Dragons, no not quite a complete row/page. But it's close!
This has become tedious in this last little section because I only have two colours to stitch in it. So it's quick, cause it's just rows of the same thing, but kinda boring. So I am doing it bit by bit. It'll get there.

Well... only a few more weeks until my first 12-hour stitch day at my LNS. Can't wait! And of course the end of this week will be a great relief to get our magazine out the door! ;)
