How is it that long weekends always seem to be busier than any other?
I had a great time visiting with my brother and grandparents who came into town for Easter on Saturday. Also seeing my nieces and nephew on Sunday. But it made for a very busy feeling weekend.
I did get a chance to stitch on my Elfland SK from HAED.
Worked on this Friday night and some on Sunday. (though I did take some time to just cuddle with the B/F on the couch to watch the restored version of The Wizard of Oz. I hadn't seen that movie in forever and think they did a brilliant job of restoring it without losing it's true form.
Here is my progress on Elfland:
In other news... I see the specialist on Wednesday for a follow-up on meds and stuff. I have been feeling kinda crappy... thought I was getting better for a bit last week but then this weekend things started to go back downhill. I think it is all food triggers now and it's very frustrating to me.
Also doesn't help that both B/F and I have sore throats and might be coming down with someone. *sigh* It just doesn't end does it. Sad but true.
I will be doing a giveaway here soon. I just have to put it together!
Thanks for your comments and continued support.

Your making great progress on Elfland.
I hope the drs can get some answers for you soon. Food triggers are going to be difficult as they are probably something you enjoy eating. Get well soon.
Hope your food issues can be cleared up, Elfland is looking good.
Elfland looks great - hope you're feeling better!
Hi Mel,
I love all the designs that you are stitching! It's great that you have made so much
progress on each of them. I have a few started, (not as epic) and can't seem to get
to them enough to even get a tiny portion of what you've done on any piece...lol.
Love the Elfland...
On the other note, I know about the frustrations of food triggers/allergies...
They can be very very aggravating. I hope that can straighten out. It's really
hard to figure out what causes reactions...and the reaction itself is so uncomfortable.
Keep on stitching!

Great progress on Elfland! Far better than my pitiful progress on Draon Luck!
Sure hope you get to feeling better soon; and for the long-term!
Great progress on both your HAEDs.
I hope that you will very soon find out about what food is convenient for you and that your sore throat was just false alarm.
Oh Mel, you are too young to start falling apart! I hope your health issues turn around soon. I love all your HAEDs, I don't have the patience for them myself but I admire those who do!
Elfland is coming along nice.
Hope you and the B/F feel better real soon. We have a nasty cold/flu working through our house right now, so I know how you feel.
Elfland looks good.
I hope you and B/F feel better soon.
Glad you had a nice Easter with the family, Mel. My family doesn't celebrate Easter anymore, so it was just another weekend for me. Not a 3-day one either, darnnit.
Your stitching looks great, and I hope your next appt goes well. Hang in there.
Your Elfland is coming along nicely! I hope you can figure out what exactly causes you to feel icky!
