Stitch or Die FINISH! (and more health updates)

I have finally finished up Stitch or Die.
This pattern was dear to be because it was also stitched by my dear friend Evalina. But it became even more important as a lot of it was stitched while I was in the hospital.
So the B/F and I have decided to find a nice frame for it and put it right above my stitching chair in the main room! (this is exciting to me as our walls mostly have items on them. But there is this small piece of wall before the window right above my chair that might work, AND that the B/F is going to let me put up more stitching, lol)

Here is the final product in it's entirely:

And at a cool angle:

I had my appt with the GI specialist this morning. As many of you know I have been getting more and more sick as time goes on. They have changed my meds. One of the ones I now have to take is like Tang flavoured Gravel. You put it in the water, it sort of dissolves and then drink it. It's sooo gross. I don't like it at all. But I will try it and see if it helps.
I now have a 'procedure' in June as well. The only one they didn't do while I was in hospital last. They are doing it to rule out Chron's Disease with this test. And then go from there.
So I just have to hope these new meds like me and help a bit until then. It seems like the longest road ever!

Thank you all so much for your support.
And wow did I have some very lovely comments on dragons. Thank you soooo much. You all inspire me to keep going. I really do appreciate it.

And I would love to see the picture of it on the wall. And I want to see your chair with you stitching in it. Too much to ask? Well, I just feel like it.

Congrats on the finish and I hope that the new medication will work. It sounds so un-tasty...

And to tease you, on my blog I have an aerial picture of my place.

This is such a fun piece. Sometimes i feel like that pattern when I can't find any stitching time! LOL

I hope that you're feeling better soon. That medicine you're taking sounds just awful!

Your finished piece is beautiful.
I hope your new medicine will help. It will be more easy to drink than even if it tastes very bad.

Stitch or Die is so colorful, like the fabric you used. Can you use juice or tea or something to make you medicine more drinkable. Tang flavored gravel, yum. Hope it helps though.

One question is Stitch or Die and Helga design? i have seen it somewhere but don't know where. It sure looks like her work! Great stitching btw your friend did a good job.
Take care and I will say many prayers for you.
God Bless ~

Very cool finish Mel :-) Great place to hang it too.
I hope your new meds help. My mum used to tell us kids that the worse the medicine tasted the better it was for us :-) I hope this is the case for you x

Stitch or Die turned out awesome!!

I hope, for your sake, it's not Crohns. They ruled that out for me with a simple stool test. If it had been positive with white blood cells that would have put up a flag that I have Crohns. Hope you get some relief real soon.

I need to do a blog update about my health as well.
