Further from that I've been working on some ornaments to donate to a friends charity event. Today in a few hours I finished this 2009 Just Nan pattern "over the top" tin. Here's the stitching (I am going to finish it this weekend):

I love your beading. That is something I want to learn. I took a class in Peyote stitch but I seem to be too uncoordinated & it was hard. Maybe someday.

Some forms of beading can be quicker than cross stitching. I got a bead loom for Christmas and the patterns come up really fast.
