Well folks, 28 days into the Stitch From Stash and I'm already dying to buy stuff!!!
I am seriously starting to think that maybe I have a shopping addiction... as someone with an addictive personality (hence why I love crafting so much) I am always on the watch to make sure I'm not being silly about stupid crap but this shopping this is just too hard. LOL.
So how'd I really do with a $25 budget?
Okay... I stuck to eBay almost all month, where I could feel like I was buying stuff even if I lost the bid. Pathetic I know.
I am still dying to buy the new Ink Circles Turret pattern, which means that at least I know I really want it.
So I spent $14.24 (US) in total and will be getting 4 small charts with mermaids, two Lizzie Kate kits and a little bead and button Mill Hill kit. Not too shabby at all!
But definitely February will need to include Ink Circles new pattern Turretts and threads and fabric for it!!
Coming up is the Nashville Market and there will be a pre-determined amount to spend that weekend with any store. Many stores offer discounts if you order before or on the weekend. I'm watching my two favourite store that are itty bitty and going to the market for what awesome new things they find there.
Ladies from SFS - So many of you hit $0.00 or less than $5 in the budget this month. I'm sooo impressed! An email will be coming around to everyone by the weekend with fun stats, tips & tricks; as well as the important winners of stash stuff!!
I do have the first couple of bands on Counting Bats by Just Nan stitched up already. But no pics as I didn't have a chance to take it off the scroll rods. So next time for sure!

LOL, I would've never thought to bid on eBay and losing as shopping. At least you spent less than $15. :)
You didn't do to bad and you definitely stayed within your budget - so congrats for that!
It's a tough but fun challenge, even I struggled a bit with it this first month. I'm excited to see what February will bring :)
eBay is good to buy and sell but can be dangerous with things being cheaper!
I stuck to £0 - hopefully I can next month too
Sounds like you've got some lovely post on the way as well as managing to stick to the budget :D
Buying a little to satisfy one's desires and staying within the budget sound great on both ends.
I'm really getting into the swing of the challenge, it's good fun :) Looking forward to seeing your new stash when it arrives Mel!
Best wishes.
Well you stuck to your budget and got some great deals! I think you should be proud. I've been avoiding looking to much but my 123Stitch wish list is growing lol. I love this challenge! Working hard on Shores of Hawk run Hollow which I love and have a place picked out for but has been hanging around waiting for me to pick it up on and off for 1 1/2 years. Hope to finish it this year and your challenge should help!
Hugs,
Rose
I think you did a great job of resisting all those charts and fabric and thread that are calling your name. I was doing so well until I found the needle minder with Olaf on it. That blew up my resolve. Next month should be good.
You did a great job! You got some good deals and still stayed way under budget. I am loving this challenge so far.

Not too bad on this month's spending...
You've been a good girl, you've not spent so much.
Me, I've been saving this month's budget for this weekend's market.
Turrent pattern is so cute, I understand you.
Have a nice day! xoxo
Congrats on staying under budget Mel.
Linda
Congrats on keeping under budget, I'm really enjoyig the challenge so far - thanks for hosting it.
Great job staying in budget. The first few months were the hardest for me, after that not spending became the norm rather than buying. It can still be really hard around market time but that's what my wish list is for.
