Mill Hill kit
Blue perforated paper with beads and thread
I get asked a lot why I like these little easy kits so much and actually the answer is simple. They are affordable and well, easy! On days where I am not feeling good, when you take as many meds as I do those days tend to pile up, these kits are something I can turn to if my fingers are itching to stitch but not capable of handling anything more difficult.
I really like perforated paper as it's easy to hold and you can never miss those big holes! :)
Other news:
I'm past the 3/4 point on the first Alice page so that will come by end of June I hope!
And a new Dragon is almost done so watch for him.
Happy Stitching!

It looks great! Having something easy to do on the bad or busy days is sensible, especially with the BAP's you do. I have the magazine freebies for those days, though I don't always finish finish them hehe.
So pretty! Congrats on your finish. :)
Mel, congratulations on your Mill Hill finish! What a super piece!
So sweet! It reminds me something like this but made form glass with shining colours and glitter.... My grandma had them on her Christmas tree, unfortunately most of them have been broken :( I know that my mom have a few of them...
Mel, this is such a pretty little ornament. I have yet to try beads or stitching on paper, I have both in my stash and they intimidate me. And 10 finishes a year is great!! Mary@stitchingfriendsforever
Mel, That is such a shiny and beautiful little finish. It would look beautiful on a tree. --Andrea
It looks great, I do like the colours (that green goes so well with the blue). I really enjoy those kits myself, for one, I lovelovelove the beading, and then it's always nice to have a quick and easy finish, and with the perforated paper they are really nice to take along and work on the go as well!
Great finish! And yes, every finish, even small ones is worth celebrating!
Such a pretty stitch Mel. It will look beautiful on your tree. RJ @stitching friends forever
That is beautiful. I understand sticking with simple and easy to stitch project, so days that is all my brain can handle.
